Well, I hate it and love it at the same time. IdeologicalArrest made a good analogy: It's like a son. You love him to death but you wish he'd stop being so stupid.

Theres a long story how I came up with this melody. You could say it came to me in a dream, which would be accurate enough. Imagine if you had a dream that was just music. No falling from high places, no breathing underwater, no having sex with that hot chick that sits next to you in chemistry. Just music.

I like really fast makes-you-wanna-dance-your-ass-off music. Songs like Roulette Dares and Take the Veil by The Mars Volta made me want to write this song, and I'm not done yet. I still want to explore this style a little more.

PS sorry your other two songs are taking so long. I'm waiting for a good idea to come to me.

yea... I always pictured that this would be what it would feel like to be in like the marines or something and out on the front line... then you get shot and you're just laying on the ground waiting to die. The title itself reflects death... look Captive Bolt up on wikipedia! Creepy.

Thank you! Um... It sort of reminded me of a The Mars Volta song called L'Via L'Viaques or something like that... there's a piano part in that song that always intrigued me. Maybe that's where I got the idea, idk. Usually when I write music it's just something that randomly pops in my head one day so it's very possible.
